Job Title : HVAC Technician

11 : 00pm - 7 : 30am Saturday - Wednesday (possible variations)
Job Description
The HVAC Technician will focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment across all systems. The role requires technical expertise in one craft area such as Electrical, HVAC, Piping / Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations, and proficiency in others to successfully complete work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to maintain standards.
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical proficiency.
- Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.
- Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Comply with departmental policy for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

Work Environment
Candidates will work on-site at various campuses in the Bay Area, including Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and San Bruno. While primarily stationed at one site, you may need to commute to other sites within a 5-mile radius. A personal vehicle is required initially, with a company vehicle provided upon conversion. Shift hours are from Saturday through Wednesday, with possible variations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mountain View, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00 / hr.
