Water Resources Senior Technical Advisor
Job Summary : Huitt-Zollars Inc. is seeking an experienced water resources engineer for an immediate part time opportunity in their Dallas office. Preference is a licensed engineer in the state of Texas with 20 years of experience. Experience in the Dallas area is desired. The role will include providing senior oversight of a diverse range of stormwater projects in addition to business development. The position will include working collaboratively in a team environment providing engineering analysis and design for public works infrastructure, urban development, and transportation projects.
Location : Dallas, TX
Registration(s) : Licensed PE in the state of Texas
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Perform Quality Control reviews of a wide range of hydrology, hydraulics, scour, and geomorphic projects
- Mentor EIT, PE, and Project Management staff regarding hydrologic and hydraulic design
- Mentor staff in Project Management and Task Management activities for water resources projects
- Perform business development activities including, client relationship development, preparation of Statement of Qualifications and proposals
- Write and coordinate preparation of graphic materials for presentations and documents
