Our direct client has an opening for a Human Resources Assistant II for their Human Resources Group in their main office in downtown Los Angeles.
This contract assignment is expected to be 6mos, with an option to extend or convert to direct.
Please note this position requires the successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and employment and education verification prior to starting work.
The work schedule is a 9 / 80 schedule starting as early as 7 : 00am 4 : 30pm with every other Friday off.
- The Human Resources Assistant II will be working on a hybrid model, so they will be required to come into the office twice a week (which days not confirmed yet).
The Human Resources Assistant II will be providing administrative support to the Recruitment team by completing required paperwork to bring on staff, scheduling meetings / interviews and testing, and corresponding with a variety of candidates, hiring managers, and agencies as needed.
The hiring manager is asking for the candidate to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience along with an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Desired Experience :
Conduct basic research studies and prepare supporting reports and documents; learn methods and techniques used to analyze business processes; learn principles of budget preparation; learn methods and techniques used in coordinating training programs; prepare a variety of administrative and financial reports; perform a variety of administrative support duties within an assigned area; understand and follow verbal and written instructions; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing and spreadsheet applications; establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all levels within the organization, other agencies, regulatory agencies, special interest groups and the public.
