As we experience remarkable growth, with a 130+% year-over-year expansion for the past 6 years, we seek an exceptional In-House Counsel to oversee all legal activities while advising key stakeholders to ensure compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, negotiate, and manage all provider and employment contracts.Provide counsel on various federal and state regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, fraud and abuse laws, Stark and anti-kickback issues, and licensure matters.Build state-compliant models while conducting regulatory diligence and oversight for existing and future markets.Review, negotiate, and approve real estate agreements including leases.Manage any labor and employment related disputes while creating and collaborating on policies and procedures to mitigate HR related risks.Serve as a resource for executive team members as it relates to the legal components of their various departments.Assist with ensuring awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures.Key Qualifications 5+ years of corporate or operational healthcare experience.Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school & active membership in at least one state bar where Serenity is active, preferably Arizona or Texas.Ability to identify and manage legal risks within the healthcare environment, including those related to insurance, patient care, operations, and financial matters.Expertise in negotiating and drafting contracts including employment agreements, payor contracts, corporate leases, and service vendor contracts.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing healthcare, and experience developing and implementing compliance programs.Ability to work collaboratively with various departments including operations, HR, marketing, revenue cycle & billing, finance, and IT.#J-18808-Ljbffr
