Job description
Infosys is seeking a GIS Developer - with deep understanding of GIS domain and technical knowledge. Candidate should have experience in implementing GIS solutions for Electric / Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms. This position is based out of San Ramon or Oakland, California or Richardson Texas. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ramon, CA or Oakland, California, or Richardson TX or be willing to relocate to the area and work during PST time zone. This position may quire travel to project locations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Candidate should have experience of playing a Lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric / Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms.
- Experience in GIS analysis / development / programming with (SDLC) full life cycle development on ESRI tools like ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS online, Survey 123, ArcGIS for Server.
- Experience in creating and analyses maps, cleaning and updating spatial data using ArcGIS for Desktop 10.x and ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience in Agile way of working (Scrum), JIRA & Confluence tools
Preferred Qualifications
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows :
In San Ramon, CA : 86,284 to 130,000
In Oakland, CA : 85,449 to 116,132

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
