Diagnostics Clinic Director / Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Gilbert
Position Summary : Diagnostics Clinic Director (Licensed Clinical Psychologist) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, autism-focused diagnostic services at the Gilbert location. This position combines clinical expertise, operational management, and team leadership to ensure individuals and families have a family-centered experience that is of the highest clinical standards.
Your Role :
- Provides contemporary and effective clinical oversight and professional staff supervision of team members providing development, education, evaluation and recommendations to clients.
- Provides supervision and management of feedback to postdoctoral candidates and psychometrists.
- Provides in the moment responses for crisis, ethical, and administrative concerns that arise in the clinic.
- Provides didactic trainings, as needed, to supervisees.
- Practices in accordance with APA ethical standards.
- Submits session notes and reports for billing in a timely manner.
- Works closely and collaboratively with the intake, billing, and clinical teams.
- Complies fully with all medical records and information privacy regulations, local, state and federal.
- Takes all steps necessary to ensure exceptional service to clients by all team members supervised and managed.
- Ensures families and individuals have an in-clinic experience to the AXIS standards including the quality and cleanliness of the clinic
- Participates in the quality assurance process for psychologists and psychometrists including reviewing of videos and reports.
- Collects and analyzes data for the purposes of clinical service evaluation and improvement.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and scalability improvements.
- Demonstrates ability to regularly change priorities in order to accomplish all critical tasks and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, to ensure understanding by all affected individuals.
- Conducts comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations that include administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, clinical interview with caregivers, and assessment of cognition and adaptive functioning; Director will complete or supervise evaluations each month.
- Composes diagnostic reports and reviews findings and recommendations with families.
- Submits session notes and reports for billing in a timely manner.
- Practices in accordance with APA ethical standards.
- Maintains consistent alignment with our mission of advancing research and providing a lifetime of support for individuals with autism while putting our clients and their family members first on a day-in and day-out basis.
- Maintains primary focus upon work duties and results as well as client services needs with secondary focus on administrative tasks, while maintaining minimal distraction on achieving position goals by non-work-related responsibility and non-client service activities.
- Performs other special projects and duties as necessary and requested.
