  • Create detailed technical documentation for your system. Contribute to other technical documentation, as requested.
  • Perform failure analyses and manage both technical and safety specifications.
  • Decompose parent requirements to meet project needs.
  • Learn, develop, and execute Aevum's systems engineering process, including configuration management, change control, and risk management.
  • Participate in engineering review board meetings as requested.
  • Support launch operations development and execution as requested by the space launch team.
  • Present and report complicated, technical topics to senior executives effectively.
  • Participate and contribute to formal customer reviews, internally and externally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

TRAVEL

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field

  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly professional, especially under pressure
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master degree in systems engineering or other technical field
  • 3+ years of experience leading structured systems engineering in an aerospace program
  • Prior experience performing on government contracts
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • As needed, must be willing to work extended hours and weekends to ensure that customers are properly supported and missions are on-time.
