Description
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator primarily serves as the liaison between Fleet Management Contractor and Carter BloodCare. The individual exercises good judgment in support of Carter BloodCare fleet, to ensure the highest levels of safety, operability, cleanliness, timely repairs, and vehicle availability at the Bedford and Woodway locations. The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator uses the current CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to input and complete preventative maintenance tasks, unscheduled repair activities, and vehicle cleaning schedules.
This position supports activities in the operation and maintenance of fleet and fleet equipment, by performing a variety of hands-on duties, with other fleet staff, and / or in collaboration with approved contractors. A valid, Texas driver's license is required, as well as an acceptable driving record (as specified in the current Vehicle Loss Control Guide).
Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED, required; some college, preferred
- Completion of Small Engine Repair and / or ASE certification, preferred
- Completion of an automotive technical program or automotive maintenance program, preferred
- Texas Commercial Driver's license required, or ability to acquire within 12 months of hire
