Position : FW350 Exercise Testing & Prescription Location : Parkville, MO Job Id : 861 # of Openings : 1 Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct faculty are required to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course before being scheduled, as well as other training if required by the department. These are daytime face to face courses at our Parkville campus. Local applicants only. FW350 Exercise Testing & Prescription Minimum Qualifications
- Must meet ONE of these education requirements : oA Master’s degree, Doctorate, or other related terminal degree in Exercise Science or a related field. oAny graduate degree with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, plus 5 years relevant experience. oAt least 28 credits of graduate coursework toward a master’s degree, doctoral degree, or other terminal degree in a related field of study. FW350 Exercise Testing & Prescription Course Description A laboratory course that covers exercise test administration, results interpretation, and exercise prescription based on ACSM guidelines. Aerobic Fitness, muscular strength and endurance, balance, flexibility, & body composition will be addressed. Professional communication skills will be advanced through client interactions & practical examinations.
