We are seeking a Medical Secretary Lead for a respected medical office in Providence, RI! If you possess strong leadership skills and are passionate about enhancing patient care in a healthcare setting, we want to hear from you.
In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth patient interactions and maintaining a high standard of care. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a supportive team environment, we encourage you to apply.

Pay Rate : $23 - $25 per hour

Primary Responsibilities of the Medical Secretary Lead :
Train and mentor staff in a medical office environment.
Supervise all daily operations related to patient encounters.
Efficiently schedule office appointments and manage patient flow.
Maintain medical records and fulfill medical records requests.
Evaluate and communicate building maintenance needs to Administration.
Order medical and office supplies as needed.
Delegate responsibilities to ensure effective workflow.
Assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Perform accurate data entry and processing.
Participate in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
Formulate objectives and improve processes for office operations.
Provide educational materials to patients to enhance their understanding of services.
Assist in creating and maintaining staff schedules.
Collaborate with management to support team initiatives.
Qualifications of the Medical Secretary Lead :
At least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a medical office.
Knowledge of medical terminology and front office procedures is required.
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience or a Medical Assistant Certification / Medical Terminology course.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Completion of a Medical Terminology course is preferred.
Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Expert computer literacy, including proficiency in managing appointments and accessing electronic medical records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to commute to other office locations in RI
