Account Executive
System Innovators - Remote
System Innovators is seeking an Account Executive to augment our growing team to foster new sales of our Enterprise Revenue Management solutions and services. The Account Executive will be responsible for the pursuit and closure of Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) solutions and related professional services opportunities in local government accounts within the assigned region. A comprehensive understanding of local government workflows and practices is extremely important, coupled with the ability to identify and engage with key stakeholders at all levels of government and procurement.
The Account Executive is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle within a specific regional geography including territory planning, targeted marketing campaigns, customer retention and growth opportunities with current customer base, and supporting new customer activities.
Responsibilities
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts within a specified region
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess customer needs and maintain client relationships
- Achieve assigned sales quota in designated accounts
- Meet or exceed assigned expectations for customer acquisition, profitability, and sales targets
- Maintain a 12-24-month view of sales leads pipeline with appropriate actions to maximize long-term revenue growth, while simultaneously accomplishing mission critical objectives
- Execution and maintenance of the company’s core values and reputation in the marketplace
- Utilize CRM for all aspects of account management : lead generation and contact management, opportunity tracking, quotations, and closure to complete order cycle
- Work across departments to ensure customers’ needs are met in all areas including research & development, client success, professional services, marketing and finance
- Daily contact with leads and accounts through email and telephone
- Active execution and timely follow up on all company-initiated marketing campaigns
- Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures
- Provide monthly sales activity and forecast report
