Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Lathe Operator in Visalia, CA.
As a CNC Lathe Operator you will :
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe equipment (manual tooling only; no live tooling).
- Load parts, load proving tapes, cycle machines, operate controls, set offsets, and make simple edits.
- Inspect parts to ensure they conform to production requirements, using precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.
- Study and interpret blueprints, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with CNC programmers, machinists, and supervisors to ensure optimal operation.
- Recommend mechanical adjustments to meet production and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Ensure all tools are used and maintained correctly, including calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Perform physical tasks that may include standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Adhere to all company policies, including quality and rework standards.
This is a Full Time opportunity : Must be available for all shifts / flexible
The ideal candidate will have :
Pay Rate : $20.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience.
