You will coordinate the tasks of 15-25 housekeeping associates, assist in training and development, uphold standards, perform daily rounding, and serve as a liaison between administration and unit departments to provide the highest possible level of service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the department.Establishes work standards and work flow while establishingand implementingpolicies and procedures for departmental operations.Encourages and mentors staff creativity and innovation.Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.Proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectives.Inspiring associates by setting a positive example and engaging directly in tasks.Demonstrates quality leadership in meeting performance plans.Responsible for department’s financial data and statistics and monitoring of unit expenditures.Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget.Additional duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications : Environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred; we will offer trainingStrong work ethic, hospitable and compassionate approach, drive, and initiative for quality and customer serviceExperience in a hospital, senior living, military, facilities, or related healthcaresetting1 or more years of supervisory / management experience with the ability to hold staff accountableExcellent written and verbalcommunication skills and able toproblem solveboth one-on-one and in group situationsAbility to use a participative approach to managing staffUnderstanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss conceptsExcellent administrative and organizational skills and the ableto prioritizeAbility to function appropriately under stressful conditions.CRCST orother applicable sterile processing certification is preferred.Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.Apply to TouchPoint today!TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
