Overview

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and school settings. The Electrician will ensure that all work is performed in compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations. while ensuring all students, staff, and the community are provided a safe, attractive, clean, and healthy environment for learning and work.

Qualifications

• Valid New York City Journeyman Electrician License or New York State equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and NYC Building Codes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• New York State Driver's License.
• Ability to commute between school sites.
• 2-5 years' experience in electrical experience preferred.

Compensation

Initial salary offers for this position range from $25 - $40 per hour. Salaries are determined using an equitable compensation scale that accounts for years of experience and levels of attained education.
