Job descriptionExperience : 5+ years of electrical estimating experience, with familiarity in both commercial and industrial large-scale projects. Electrical Project Management / Superintendent experience may also be considered. Skills : Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings. Ability to calculate electrical loads in compliance with N.E.C. and other published standards. Strong oral and written communication skills. Software : Experience with ACCUBID is preferred. Licenses : Current Journeyman or Master Electrical license preferred but not required. Other : Must have a clean driving record, be able to pass a drug test, and maintain a professional appearance in all project and corporate environments (airlines, pharmaceutical, food processing, government facilities, and general construction sites). Work Schedule : Occasional work during off-normal hours may be required.

Job Title : Sr. Electrical Estimator
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator to manage large electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with estimating electrical systems, collaborating with subcontractors, and overseeing the entire estimation process. This role requires a deep understanding of project documents, client specifications, and the ability to effectively manage estimates for both commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Thoroughly review and understand all contract documents, drawings, and client procedures.
- Analyze proposal specifications and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they have the most up-to-date project information.
- Incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontractors, and productivity reports into estimates.
- Evaluate and review all levels of electrical estimates to ensure accuracy.
- Manage pricing and labor units in the estimating database.
- Coordinate and facilitate estimating system training for other staff members.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
