Job Title : Manager Disaster Recovery
Primary Location : REMOTE
Position Type : Direct Hire
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000.00- $190,000.00 / yr NO BONUS, depending on experience and qualifications. Overview
Manager of Disaster Recovery . This is a full-time, REMOTE role. This position is open due to company growth and building the GRC functions within the Cyber / Information Security organization.
The DR Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing disaster recovery strategies, plans that ensure the continuous availability of critical technology infrastructure and applications and building the DR team. To be clear, this role you will be responsible for building and expanding the DR program and DR team. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience building and managing DR programs. You will report to the Director of GRC and the Director of Information Security Strategy coordinating the efforts of various teams such as application, change management, infrastructure management, risk, business continuity for disaster recovery exercises and related documentation (BIA's, Test Plans, Post-Test Reports).
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; master's degree nice to have.
- Must have 6-12 years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity planning preferable in healthcare vertical or other highly regulated complex enterprise business vertical such as finance, insurance etc.
- 5 years of experience in planning a Disaster recovery calendar and updating processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience building DR programs and Management of people and processes
- Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems and disaster recovery practices nice to have.
- Strong background in Project Management
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
- Current knowledge of disaster recovery solutions and data backup technologies.
- Security and Project Management Certification (CISSP, CISA, CBCP, AHPCP, CHPCP, PMP, Scrum master, ITIL).
- Experience with virtual servers, database replication, networks, cloud technologies, Citrix, SaaS.
- Proven ability to develop, document, and test disaster recovery strategies.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing thought leadership - industry best practices and standards - continuously maturing the recovery program in alignment with evolving industry benchmarks and best practices.
- Working understanding of enterprise Business Continuity
