Position : Special Education Student Aide (Posting number 2425-3023)
Location : District Wide
Start Date : ASAP
Requirements : Experience supporting students with disabilities with academic, personal care, and / or behavioral needs across school settings.
We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications :
- High School graduate or equivalency
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
- Communicates and works well with students (general and special education), teachers, parents, co-workers, and others in the community
Position Summary : The Student Aide assists in the promotion of a positive learning environment under the direction of a certified teacher.
Supervisor : The Student Aide is directly responsible to the building principal or his / her designee. Those aides who are working in special education will also be supervised by a district administrator.
Essential Responsibilities :
Salary : As per current Educational Support Association Agreement (ESA) as well as education and experience
