Job Description

Are you a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry? One of our top clients is seeking a dedicated and innovative leader to oversee the nursing operations of our skilled nursing facility and post-acute facility in California.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership : Provide direct oversight and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.

Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor and improve patient care outcomes.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including but not limited to CMS, OSHA, and CLIA.

Staff Development : Recruit, hire, train, and develop a highly skilled and motivated nursing team.

Patient Care : Promote a patient-centered culture and ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care.

Budget Management : Assist in the development and management of the nursing department budget.

Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a skilled nursing facility or post-acute facility.

Licensure : Current California RN license.

Knowledge : Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and quality improvement methodologies.

Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
