SNC's TRAX software plays an integral part in bridging battlefield communication gaps for Military and Coalition Partners, effectively eliminating any proprietary interfaces and protocols, allowing commanders to receive a sound common operating picture of their battle space. You will be part of a team that designs and implements cloud-native applications, working with cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker to build highly scalable applications and microservices.
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground / flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implementation of microservices
- Refactoring legacy and traditional monolithic applications into microservices and containerized architectures
- Works as part of a larger Agile software development team to rapidly provide operational capabilities to the field
- Elicit, derive, and document software and / or system requirements to meet internal or external customer specifications
- Define software / and or system architecture, design software modules, and produce associated documentation per corporate or customer standards
- Write and test software modules and integrate with other software and / or hardware components
- Remain up to date with the latest related trends and technologies
