Job Responsibilities -
Diagnose and treat dental issues, including oral diseases and injuries. - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals. - Oversee and manage the practice's day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Develop and implement treatment plans for patients. - Supervise and mentor dental staff, including hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel. - Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. - Educate patients on oral healthcare and preventive practices. - Manage the financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, accounting, and billing. - Ensure the practice is equipped with the necessary tools and supplies by managing inventory and vendor relationships. - Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and techniques through continuing education. - Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain patients. - Foster a positive and professional environment for both staff and patients. - Handle patient complaints and address any issues related to care or service. - Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school. - Valid state dental license and certification to practice dentistry. - Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in general dentistry. - Proven track record of managing and operating a dental practice. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills. - Proficiency with dental software and digital radiography. - In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and best practices. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to develop treatment plans that meet the needs of patients. - Commitment to continuing education and professional development. - Business acumen and financial management skills. - Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards in dentistry. - Ability to build and maintain strong patient relationships. - High ethical standards and professional integrity.
