- Cardiac Tech for Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
This is a part-time position with day shift hours located in Norfolk, VA
Excellent opportunity for a Nursing Care Partner, Patient Care Tech, or Ed Tech to advance their skills.
Job Requirements
Position Overview
Aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; maintaining equipment and recording test results.
The Cardiac Technician will assist staff in the Cath Holding Care Unit. Cardiac Tech will prep patient for procedures done in the Cath, Non-Invasive and EP Lab. Tech will place IVs, draw labs, set up telemetry monitor, pull sheaths, and transport patients.

Job Summary
Aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; maintaining equipment and recording test results.
EKG Holter Monitor Hook-up experience preferred. On the job training required.
Qualifications :
HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) - Certification - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
