Job Description
As the Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Manager, you will be the cornerstone of a team dedicated to providing timely, in-person support to 988 callers in their home, community or other safe location. In this role, you will focus on supervising staff, promoting best practices, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, culturally informed care.
Key responsibilities include :
- Partnering with Swope Health to provide a collaborative mobile crisis response to those in our KCMO service areas.
- Providing consistent and supportive supervision to mobile crisis staff, guiding them to deliver professional and compassionate care.
- Ensuring that all team members adhere to evidence-based practices, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and uphold high-quality service standards.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing mentorship to foster professional growth and skill development among staff.
- Overseeing team schedules to provide 24 / 7 staffing coverage, ensuring seamless response to 988 callers and being available for on-call clinical support to assist with critical needs.
- Promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration, empowering team members to excel in crisis response.
- Facilitating onboarding for new team members, conducting training sessions, and ensuring ongoing education in crisis intervention and cultural competence.
- Monitoring program data to evaluate staff performance and outcomes, and implementing strategies to improve service delivery and program efficiency.
- Engaging in outreach activities to expand program visibility and partnerships with clinics, schools, and community agencies.
