We are seeking a Senior Corrosion Engineer to help build the corrosion and protective coatings practice including specifications, details, design practices, references and perform project specific coatings design on projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical oversight and review of pipeline design work for cathodic protection impacts
• Develops design of pipeline corrosion control and cathodic protection systems
• Reviews detailed designs for corrosion prevention systems, cost estimates and bid documents
• Assists in the evaluation of bids and the selection of contractors
• Serves as project manager for corrosion-related capital improvement projects
• Responsible for engineering service and support in the planning, construction, operation, maintenance, and analysis of corrosion control
• Develops solutions to technical problems involving unconventional or advanced problem solving techniques that may not have been previously encountered
• Prepares complex engineering plans, designs, specifications, standards, evaluations and studies utilizing specialized analytical skills
• Involved in exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation
• Responsible for acting independently and making authoritative decisions on technical matters
• Travel may be required

Pay Range

85,000 to $160,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
