Responsibilities
The Meeting / Event Planning Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events and strategic meetings for the Office of the Chief of Staff. The primary goal of this position is to ensure flawless execution of events and initiatives that support the mission, vision, and strategic goals of University Hospital. The manager will oversee event logistics, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage communications to ensure seamless operations while advancing the institution's reputation. Serving as a close advisor to the Chief of Staff, this role demands a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, with the ability to influence decision-making through operational insights.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of event planning or project management experience, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting. Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Experience with budgeting, financial tracking, and contract negotiations. High level of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to manage confidential information. Proficiency with event management software and office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace).
