Job Description
The Construction Manager (CM) will represent our Client as part of the on-site team. Their role is to help the client leadership plan the work sequence, organize the necessary staff and equipment, integrate with the requirements of I&C and QAQC, track the schedule, report progress, help prevent issues from occurring / solve them once they have occurred, etc. The craft laborer does not report to the CM; the CM helps guide the client Leadership to whom the craft reports.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
- Technical communication / coordination lead across all engineering disciplines, Clients, General Contractors, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Management Staff
- Make sure projects are following the scope and schedule
- Coordination with Vendors, Suppliers, and Subcontractors on behalf of Clients and Company to execute project scope
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
- Be the client's point of contact and have financial responsibility for budget control and invoicing
- Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders.
