What are we looking for in our Community Engagement Manager?

JOB TITLE : Community Engagement Manager

LOCATION : 1180 Discovery Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94088, United States

DURATION : 12-month contract to hire

COMPENSATION : $75 - $83 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manage, oversee, and expand community forum projects, strategies, and tactics to foster a cohesive community identity and enhance user engagement.
Implement engagement strategies, including virtual member events, discussion forums, ad-hoc community projects, etc.
Collect, analyze, and report community-related data to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of campaign results.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and community specialists to achieve targeted outcomes.
Develop and maintain a calendar / roadmap for community engagement projects and programs.
Implement gamification strategies to enhance community participation.
Refine frameworks, processes, and templates for community integration and due diligence.
Advocate for community members, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed by stakeholders.

KEY SKILLS :

Strategic Skills : Measurement, benchmarking, reporting, and synthesizing results. Ability to influence and present effectively.

Technical Skills : Proficient in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

Engagement & People Skills : Ability to monitor member needs, test engagement techniques, collaborate across teams, and facilitate community engagement playbooks.

REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum of 2-3 years of community experience, preferably in hardware or gaming sectors.

Previous experience as a Community Administrator or in community engagement.

Technical proficiency with community platforms such as Sprinklr, Khoros, or HireLogic.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS :

Experience working with cross-functional teams (XFN).

Familiarity with major community platform tools.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manage community engagement activities and projects.

Post new content and host events to drive community interaction.

Facilitate community growth and ensure adherence to community guidelines.
