Role Summary :

The Communications Manager is responsible for organizing and scheduling external communication in alignment with Bridgetown's established tone, voice, and theological convictions. They will be the primary one responsible for external written communication, social media posting, event planning, and production needs (scheduling and contracting) for video shoots. In addition, as part of the Creative and Communications Team, they will assist in the overall creative process, offering feedback, creating social media posts, and shooting photography. They will collaborate with other staff teams with regards to their communication needs. They should be highly organized, a good communicator, and have experience working in a communications department.

Job Responsibilities :

• Email campaign writing and oversight
• Social media posting
• Website content management & updating
• Organization and prioritization of promotion and project requests
• Producer for video shoots (scheduling, contracting, organizing)
• Managing art calls, creative volunteers, and other volunteer oversight
• Collaborate with and bring vision and energy to Creative and Communications Team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Plan and organize creative events
