A company is looking for a Profee and Facility Coding Quality Specialist.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex retrospective analysis of medical record documentation to identify coding and billing errorsProvide second-level review of diagnosis, procedure, and billing codes for compliance and optimal reimbursementsMaintain QA percentages and identify coding quality problems or issues in a timely mannerRequired Qualifications and EducationRecognized coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC; coding certification preferred (CPC or CCS)5-7 years of experience coding and / or auditing in an acute care facility or clinicStrong analytical skills and ability to work with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with hospital outpatient billing processes and coding documentationProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
