Job Description

About the role :

Join Takeda as a Research Specialist II where you will provide process support to the Fractionation manufacturing groups by solving technical issues within the Social Circle fractionation manufacturing facility. You will assist your quality and manufacturing partners in maintaining process compliance, aiding in the implementation of yield and process improvements, and supporting process validation activities. As part of the Fractionation Manufacturing Sciences team, you will report to the Head of Manufacturing Sciences, Fractionation.

How you will contribute :

• Troubleshoot and provide resolution to technical issues to support ramp-up and steady-state operations of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
• Evaluate and prepare product impact assessments for process exceptions.
• Conduct smaller yield and cycle time improvement projects projects. Expected to make suggestion on improvements based on recent technical knowledge.
• Work with Manufacturing to help promote important metrics such as yields and capacity.
• Track and trend yields and report on the important metrics.
• Implement experiments in the Manufacturing Sciences lab.
• Lead teams to resolve complex problems.
• Develop process validation protcols and final reports (e.g. process performance qualification, mixing study, hold study). Coordinate and support training and execution of validation activities.
• Promote the use of DMAIC tools in projects.
• Analyze scientific, and statistical data to draw appropriate conclusions.
• Support information sharing and learning between team members.
• Provide technical support for equipment in manufacturing, as second level support. Gain knowledge of systems to grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.

U.S. Base Salary Range :

67,900.00 - 106,700.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained , certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job. ?
