FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Evenings

Schedule : 11 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM (4x10s), rotating every third weekend, including holidays

Training hours may vary from the permanent schedule.

Pay : $22.80 - $29.64 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary :

Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Laboratory Technician in the Bacteriology section of our Microbiology Department. You will play a vital role in performing laboratory testing of patient specimens, ensuring high-quality diagnostic processes.

Responsibilities :

Conduct diagnostic and analytic testing of specimens, accurately interpreting, documenting, and communicating test results.

Implement quality control testing, perform instrument maintenance, and troubleshoot as needed.

Adhere to good laboratory practices and comply with regulatory requirements.

Engage in special projects and act as a resource for laboratory and clinical staff.

Utilize critical thinking skills and make decisive judgments in a fast-paced environment while working with minimal supervision.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
