In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our point-of-care testing operations across the health system. Assure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain all required documentation related to quality assurance and point-of-care testing records. This position requires strong critical thinking, intra and interdepartmental communication, problem solving, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
In addition to serving as technical resource for all point-of-care testing, a few additional Key Responsibilities will be :
- Provide training for nursing and physician partners.
- Maintain records of all training and competencies.
- Maintain calibration and Quality Control for instrumentation.
- Resource for preventative Maintenance & Advanced Troubleshooting.
Participate in the selection and implementation of point-of-care testing equipment to support facility needs
Education and Experience
or of Science degree in Medical Technology
Must be qualified to perform high complexity testing according to CLIA 493.1489 Standard; Testing personnel qualifications.

Certification and Licensure
1. MT / MLS Generalist Certification or Specialty Certification BB, C, H or M required within 12 months of hire.
2. MLT Certification and 5 years of experience.
