The Client Service Associate is an entry-mid level position that is extremely analytical and detail-oriented to support our team of financial advisors.
The primary function of this role is to assist Lead Advisors and Associate Advisors by providing support in the service and sales cycle for both insurance and investment clients.
This role will work closely with all facets of the team and is client facing. Individuals in this role will serve as the liaison between the Network and Home Office, advisors, and clients.
This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and / or performing work activities.
Job Responsibilities / Principal Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to complete insurance and investment-related paperwork
- Submit and manage the underwriting and account opening process for all applications
- Maintain contact with clients to provide or obtain updated information
- Review client-submitted paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Arrange medical, paramedical and any other exams necessary for underwriting
- Completes client service requests in insurance and investment systems
- Contact and advise clients regarding late payments and other service-related issues
- Process incoming insurance service requests from clients : process address changes, bank change information, loan requests and ISA service inquiries
- Correspond with clients to complete new account opening documents, coordinate asset transfers and document workflow throughout the process
- Process incoming securities-related requests from clients : registration changes, provide account information (statements / tax documents / activity details)
- Generate and / or review paperwork to be sent to clients
- Conduct rollover calls between clients and current 401(k) plan administrator
