Reports to : Manager, Finance

Purpose :

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for maintaining the routine accounting tasks related to payables within the company. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including but not limited to general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, debit processing, settlements and other relevant accounting functions.

Responsibilities :

• Processes invoices, check requests, and expense reports for payment.
• Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities.
• Resolves purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Applies working knowledge of accounting bookkeeping terms and procedures.
• Ensures accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received.
• Performs data entries on various computer systems.
• Provides audit support as needed and communicates gaps or concerns prior to audit.
• Reviews, researches, and processes outstanding credits by applying credits to the correct invoices.
• Adheres to compliance guidelines.

Work Environment :

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This position functions in a hybrid professional office setting.
