The Opportunity

The Chemistry Department (sciences.ucf.edu / chemistry) in the College of Sciences (COS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for one full-time, nine-month, non-tenure earning lecturer position anticipated to begin in August 2025. In addition to contributing to teaching lecture and laboratory courses, the successful candidate is expected to participate in continuous curriculum improvement and provide service to the department, college, and university. The Chemistry Department at UCF values scholarly research in Chemistry Education and encourages lecturers to participate in this area of research.

Minimum Qualifications :

A doctorate in chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications :

Preference is given to candidates who have the capability of instructing upper-level organic chemistry. Experience teaching organic chemistry and biochemistry courses is preferred.
