Position SummaryI am working with a multidisciplinary engineering firm that specializes in public sector projects that is seeking a fulltime Construction Inspector! The ideal candidate will have their NICET certification in Highway Construction and experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in highway & roadway construction, and will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site inspections for highway construction and related projects.Ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.Document construction activities, materials, and test results.Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and public agencies.Identify and report project deviations and recommend corrective actions.Prepare daily reports, logs, and photographic records.QualificationsNICET certification in Highway Construction (preferably Level 2 or higher)Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction inspection.Knowledge of state and federal highway construction standards.Familiarity with materials testing and quality control procedures.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
