Description
Overview :
The technician's responsibilities include monitoring and servicing systems, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment, running tests and completing reports, updating and improving existing systems, and repairing or replacing faulty equipment. Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on technology equipment, and provide technical support
- Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Assessing hardware and installation functionality and preparing reports about maintenance and repair work that they have performed
- Interpret and apply electrical and electronic schematics pertaining to EFM(s), and PLC(s).
- Ensure that data is current on host systems with current field wiring and monitoring.
- Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals.
- Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
- Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
- Installs and tests products to make sure they are operational.
- Responds to service requests and repairs products.
- Uses diagnostic tools to determine repair plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
