We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Buyer within the retail industry at our location in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for executing buying processes, managing ERP solutions, and undertaking various accounting functions. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time appropriately will prove essential in this role.
Responsibilities :
- Execute buying processes to ensure efficient procurement of goods
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions such as Epicor to streamline buying processes
- Manage accounting functions related to procurement, including maintaining accurate accounts payable records
- Generate, issue, and enter purchase requisitions as necessary
- Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth buying processes
- Leverage your culinary knowledge as a 'Chef' to make informed buying decisions
- Regularly review and update purchase records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Resolve any procurement-related issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
- Use the 'About Time' tool to manage and track your work effectively.
