The System Assembly Operator is responsible for the precise assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and components according to established procedures and specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety standards to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities :
System Assembly : Assemble system components, such as mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts, following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Component Installation : Install components such as wiring, cables, connectors, PCBs, and hardware into the system while ensuring proper fit and function.
Quality Control : Inspect and verify the accuracy of assemblies, ensuring parts are correctly installed, aligned, and meet company quality standards.
Testing and Troubleshooting : Perform routine tests on assembled systems to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and repair minor issues identified during testing.
Documentation : Accurately complete production reports, checklists, and other required documentation for each assembly task.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to company safety protocols, operating procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Inventory Management : Track and report usage of materials and components to maintain appropriate inventory levels for production needs.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to address issues and suggest improvements for assembly processes.
Maintenance : Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in electronics or mechanical systems is a plus.
Experience : Previous experience in system assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a similar production role preferred.
Skills : o Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
o Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
o Familiarity with basic tools, measurement instruments, and testing equipment.
o Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
o Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
