Job Description
Dynamis is seeking a Inspector General Training Course (IGTC) and Readiness Instructor (Wing and Command) to join the team.
The Inspection Agency (AFIA) of the Department of the Air Force is at the forefront of a Service effort to solidify a dependable process to effectively design, execute, and evaluate an Air and Space Force unit readiness exercise with enough rigor that exercise results can validate unit readiness reporting in authoritative reporting databases (i.e. Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). To accomplish this mission, AFIA supports the instruction of Air and Space Force Command (MAJCOM / FLDCOM) and Unit (WG / Delta) Inspector General personnel in designing, executing and evaluating readiness exercises through the Readiness Exercise Advanced Planning, Execution, and Reporting (REAPER) Course and Inspector General Training Courses (IGTC).
The REAPER course was developed utilizing CJCSM 3500.03E Joint Training Manual for the Armed Forces, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), Air Force Inspector General (IG) guidance (primarily, AFI 90-201), Air Force Operations Planning and Execution policy, and DoD and Air Force emergency management (EM) guidance. Students depart REAPER with an understanding of how DAF units generate to support deployable missions and the skills to design, plan, execute and report inspector general assessments of unit performance in readiness-based exercise events.
IGTC hybrid course was developed through examination of key work processes involved in Inspector General operational and strategic risk assessments, with focus on compliance and mission impact as it pertains to readiness and providing student-centered and instructor facilitated inspection training and risk analysis as an evolution of the existing DAF developed program. Through a combination of computer-based academic training and experiential activities, Inspectors General depart the course with risk-based critical thinking mindset and a better understanding of how to implement policy guidance in accordance with their commanders intent
