Donnybrook District High School (DHS) is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher with a unique vision and a drive to engage our Year 7-10 students in all aspects of The Mathematics learning area. This position entails the ability to access data to differentiate curriculum, embed cross curricular focuses, including the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), literacy and numeracy, and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes across multiple learning areas using multi-age group planning. You would build positive relationships, focus on student's strengths, and harness your passion for educating our students to help them determine and develop future pathways.

You would ideally be highly motivated, student and relationship focused, and able to provide engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences. You should utilise innovative initiatives and be able to work effectively within a dynamic team. This should involve reflecting upon and assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice, as well as cultivating a safe learning environment, underpinned by our core values of Consider, Aspire, Respect and Engage. As we continue our focus on Social and Emotional Learning, it is imperative for the successful applicant to incorporate strategies that support students to develop competencies which include, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship skills.
