We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory and warehouse operations including uninterrupted order fulfillment for our external customers’ and increasing efficiencies with the associated processes / procedures.
Work Schedule : Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, Weekend rotation as needed
Work Location : Indianapolis, IN

Job Responsibilities :
Oversight and Supervisor approximately 10 employees.
Maintains adequate levels of inventory for clients, communicating potential issues, providing reporting as applicable, acting as a liaison to other departments and developing and implementing new control procedures and best practices.
Developing clear productivity standards and metrics.
Collaborate on development and maintenance of program specific procedures, SOPs, training guides and operational guides.
Serves as subject matter expert and lends subject matter expertise in the area of shipping and inventory management.
Responsible for workflow of warehouse operations, and overseeing / managing warehouse staff to ensure shipments and warehouse operations are being handled appropriately and timely.
Responsible for the training of warehouse staff, providing regular performance feedback, writing annual performance reviews and addressing issues as appropriate.
Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
Develops business relationship with labcorp Sales Team, customers and Senior Leadership
Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain.
Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and staffing needs.
Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree or higher is a plus
3-5+ years previous relevant experience required; preferably in a clinical laboratory
Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
Prior distribution experience preferred
Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferred
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
