As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Computational Design Intern to assist in developing automation tools and optimizing workflows in an architectural manufacturing setting. This is a unique opportunity to apply your design skills and see your work directly impact real-world manufacturing processes.
Internship Summary :
As a Computational Design Intern, you will assist in the development and implementation of automation tools that support the company's manufacturing operations. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to optimize workflows and create data-rich, mass-customization approaches for aluminum frame assemblies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital fabrication, emerging technologies, and multi-disciplinary design approaches.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaboration & Support :
Work under the guidance of team members to support company goals and help solve design challenges.
Develop simple, elegant solutions to geometry and data-related challenges.
Create interoperability between project files and digital tools.
Engage with emerging technologies and digital fabrication techniques to optimize design and production processes.
Qualifications : Education :
Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
