Administrative Assistant
LHH is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our client in Bethesda, MD for a long-term temporary role through the end of the year. The ideal candidate will be available immediately and meet a majority of the responsibilities and qualifications below.
Responsibilities :
Assist the Head of the Middle School in bringing their vision to fruition.
Offer calendar management and email support to the Head of MS as needed.
Provide support to other members of the MS Leadership Team, including the Assistant Head of MS, Learning Specialist, Associate Athletic Director, and MS Counselor.
Aid the Head of MS in preparing and overseeing the division budget.
Attend all division meetings and take accurate meeting notes.
Maintain daily attendance records for the division.
Coordinate and support faculty in planning and organizing MS events, field trips, and transportation.
Serve as the liaison between the MS and the events office, attending weekly event meetings.
Ensure MS offices, faculty areas, and classrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and resources.
Maintain and track disciplinary records for the division.
Oversee MS participation in school-wide fire drills, ensuring accurate attendance and resolving attendance discrepancies.
Key Skills :
Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A growth mindset with a strong focus on continuous learning.
Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Flexible, proactive, and personable, with a strong commitment to serving various stakeholders, including parents, students, faculty, and staff.
Team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma.
Experience in an office environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong proficiency with PC systems, tools, and applications.
Previous experience working in an independent school setting.
Pay Details : $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
