Job descriptionIn coordination with the Lifestyle 360 director, assist with the writing of recreation program descriptions. Ensure that all documentation required by state and Five Star corporate policy is written in a timely fashion. High School Diploma or equivalent Associate degree in human service or recreation therapy preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Previous experience working in a health care setting a plus. Ability to work effectively with small groups as leader or facilitator.

The Opportunity
We are actively looking to add a Lifestyle 360 Associate to our team. Lifestyle 360 is a holistic activities program for seniors built around the five dimensions of wellness : physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. The Lifestyle 360 Associate will work with the Lifestyle 360 Director to assist in the analysis of the community's resident population and the development of an innovative, evidence based, seven days per week activity program that is engaging and incorporates the Five Dimensions of Wellness. The associate will occasionally Interview residents to determine their interests and program activity preferences.
What You’ll Do
Development And Planning
- Analyze the demographics and needs of the resident population and utilize findings to assist in designing activity programs to meet the resident’s needs.
- Work directly with residents to determine their interests and program preferences and determine what adjustments or accommodations may be needed within those programs to encourage program attendance.
