We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounting Specialist to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be a vital link between our financial consultants and clients, ensuring seamless service delivery in all accounting matters. This role is designed for a highly motivated and experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that values team-work, initiative, and results. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and responsibility.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide expert advice on financial and accounting matters to clients.

2. Manage and oversee all aspects of our clients' accounts payable and receivable.

3. Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

4. Record and document financial transactions by entering account information and maintaining ledger accounts.

5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyze budget variances and provide financial advice to management.

6. Make accurate journal entries and ensure the general ledger is up to date.

7. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.

8. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

9. Proactively identify and address client needs by building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships.

10. Use Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel, to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.

Qualifications :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA is preferred.

2. A minimum of ten years of professional experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.

3. Demonstrated skills in managing revenue and financial forecasting.

4. Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

5. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.

6. Hands-on experience with accounting software, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.

7. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach to work.

9. The ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects; work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

10. Experience with ten-key typing is a plus.
