Position Summary
We are currently seeking a part time (around 20 hr / week) Senior Manager to join our Tempe, AZ corporate office as a contractor. This position will be responsible for several general ledger accounting areas for our corporate location. The position will also participate and lead areas of the global review and reporting process. The Senior Manager will work with the worldwide factories, sales, and operations to analyze significant trends in our financial statements under US GAAP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis and various reports
- Play an important role in the monthly close processes, including contract review
- Perform balance sheet and income statement analytics and provide fluctuation explanation
- Prepare and analyze various reports related to the internal and external financial statements
- Ensure consistent global application of accounting policies and processes
- Provide documentation for internal and external auditors
- Participate in the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting
- Provide timely analysis and reporting for crisp decision making
- Participate or lead projects as needed
- Assist the Corporate Controller and Director as needed
