Job Duties Outlined :
- Work directly with the Director of the Division.
- Provide direct patient care within the Consult and Liaison service area, particularly in the inpatient hospital setting.
- Maintain a clinical practice in outpatient clinics and / or outreach sites, offering a full range of therapeutic interventions, including diagnostic assessments, medication evaluation and management, crisis intervention, and comprehensive care for patients with psychiatric disorders.
- Foster collaboration within the department, ensuring continuity of patient care and follow-up.
- Participate in supervision and teaching within the psychiatric residency program, as well as mentoring psychology trainees and students through didactic lectures and clinical training.
- Involvement in clinical and administrative on-call duties, weekend call coverage, continuous performance improvement initiatives, and participation in Medical School and Department committees as needed.
