Our swimmers are diving into great lessons and our employees are diving into great opportunities! We're now hiring year-round, part-time instructors (no seasonal positions available) with leadership opportunities available within your first 3-6 months. Yes, you can grow with Goldfish even if this is your after school or second job to help your future career!

A day in the life as a swim instructor :

You will be responsible for the success of swim lessons by reviewing your class schedule and preparing your class materials and lesson themes. You'll teach 4 swimmers per class by going through our well-established and proven curriculum of water safety, swim and swimplay skills (6 swimmers in our infant, parent-and-me style lessons). After each 30 minute lesson, you communicate progress (and celebrate the accomplishments!) with parents and caregivers.

Did you know that most swim instructors have been athletes or participate in art and theater, have been baristas or worked in restaurants, retail and customer service before discovering their love of teaching at Goldfish? We come from all different backgrounds - child care worker, camp counselor, babysitter or nanny, stay at home mom, elementary education or teachers ade, physical therapy assistant or healthcare worker. Team members in the past have worked with Goldfish through High School and College to move into management positions, making memories that last a lifetime!
