Collins Aerospace is looking for a Senior Work Transfer Manager with experience in the aerospace and defense industry. This is an onsite position in Jamestown , ND with the opportunity to travel up to 25% of the time. However, a hybrid model may be considered for an ideal candidate in the surrounding area. This position will have 2 Direct Reports managing work transfers. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Support and drive supplier work transfers from one to another, engaging with all relevant functional and regional teams.
• Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, including RFQs, negotiations, cost accountability and / or program execution.
• Approves and qualifies vendors to fulfill account needs; responds to client issues or problems.
• Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
• Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
• Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.
• Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.
• Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost.
• May perform delivery assurance responsibilities for critical parts.
• Participate in C.O.R.E. / Continuous Improvement events and activities such as Value Stream Mapping or Kaizen Events.
