Role :

The Supply Chain Administrator monitors internal supply chain performance, coordinates customer requested activities that need to happen faster than the current internal supply chain performance can deliver (order expeditor coordinator), and uses metric tracking for generating continuous improvement suggestions.

Expectations :

Through the responsibility of daily monitoring, the Supply Chain Administrator is expected to be intimately aware of the processes, capacities, and constraints regarding the dock-to-dock LINAK US material movement operations. The Supply Chain Administrator will work with all departments along the path to, when requested, make these movements happen faster than standard. By being immersed in the daily standard operation while also working through expedite situations, the Supply Chain Administrator is expected to make suggestions for improvements to the system, processes, or personnel.

Responsibilities :

The Supply Chain Administrator is responsible for 3 primary functions : daily monitoring of outbound sales order activity, coordinating expedited shipments when requested, and trend monitoring for when / where standard process improvements are required. The Supply Chain Administrator is not directly responsible for any team members and must work collaboratively with multiple team members / functions / departments to reach the most effective outcome for LINAK and Our Customer.

1) Daily monitoring and exception coordination / escalations

Release huddle facilitator

CSA, Shipping, Inventory

Reconciliation of sales orders not released :

CSA, Buying, Planning, Prototypes, Etc.

Current and backorder lines :

Prepared for shipping (Released, picked, packed, processed)

2) Coordination of expedited sales orders through internal supply chain steps :

Receiving, material movements, prepare for shipment, expedited transit

3) Continuous improvement suggestions

Data collection for daily monitoring and when asked to expedite

Trend / pareto analysis

Terms and Definitions

The position will work in the support and the direction of the Director, DESKLINE Production, Warehouse Operations, Supplier Quality, and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned. Previous experience in a similar position is not required, although previous experience working in an ERP system is required. The candidate must exhibit strong communication skills, with an emphasis on providing clear expectations, a desire for collaboration with other departments, and an urge to satisfy customer needs. A High School diploma is required and it is preferred that the candidate have experience in performing data analysis (paretos, trend analysis, root cause analysis, etc.).

Equipment

The candidate must be proficient with personal computing in Microsoft applications, namely Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Knowledge of LINAK’s ERP software – D365 is preferred.
